We are looking for experienced Support Worker in join our support work team on permanent or casual basis. We are looking for people who understand the rights of people with disability and want to deliver a great service that helps people with disability to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
Our support work team is looking for passionate and friendly Disability Support Worker who can understand and undertake the following responsibility and duties
- Provide day to day assistance and personal self-care support to client
- Assist client in capacity building activities
- Assist client with daily domestic tasks
- Transportation and social and community access and engagement
- Light domestic duties such as assistance with meals preparation and cleaning
- Personal care

Job Requirement
To join our team, you must have the following skills and experience
- Relevant qualification in disability, social work, individual support qualification
- Professional experience in supporting someone with disability
- A good understanding of disability sector and personal centered support
- Excellent communication skills and passion to assist someone with disability
- Flexible availability and a long term commitment to work regularly
- Flexible availability
- Available for sleepovers
What we require from you
- A valid Driver’s license and reliable car
- NDIS worker Screening Check ( or willing to obtain )
- Police check
- Working with children check
- Current First Aid Training
- Current CPR Training
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate or immunization evidence
