ABOUT YOUR ROLE
This is a casual Disability Support Worker role where you will be assisting customers in Mount Morgan with a variety of disabilities who may have complex behaviours, prioritising tasks efficiently, and cultivating a supportive atmosphere that encourages independence and development. You will be providing care to our customers in home and out in the coumminty. If you're passionate about making a difference in people's lives, we want you on our team!
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Assisting with daily tasks (home duties, personal care, meal prep)
- Administritering administration
- Providing companionship
- Transporting customers
- Manual handling
REQUIREMENTS The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain;
- Flexible availability (AM and PM shifts)
- Previous experience in disability or similar
- Valid drivers licence (P2 or open)
- Right to work in Australia
- COVID-19 vaccinations (x2 doses)
- CPR and First Aid certificate
- NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
- Working with Children Check (blue card)
- NDIS orientation module certificate
