SalaryEmpower Riverina is a small local NDIS provider in the Riverina. We're on the look out for our next amazing Support Worker to join our team!
The role will entail:
- Supporting Participants to achieve their NDIS goals.
- Assisting individuals with a disability to access the community and provide social engagement.
- Writing and submitting required documents such as shift notes, incident reports and additional training that's required for the role.
- Personal care tasks.
- Assisting with domestic tasks.
- Attending appointments, completing shopping and groceries.
- Assisting with Medication.
- Supporting participants in group activities when needed.
About you
Friendly, engaging, patient and caring. Must have the ability to emphasise with people with disabilities and mental health complexities.

Professional attitude and willingness to engage with all our participants and strive to best support them.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent writing, verbal and comprehension skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to think on your feet and problem solve.
Positive attitude.
Training requirements
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current NSW unrestricted drivers license
- NDIS Worker Screener Check prior to commencement or willing to obtain
- NDIS Worker Orientation Modules prior to commencement or willing to obtain
- Medication training preferred but not required.
- National Police Check
- Working with Childrens Check
