You will be assisting clients with high care needs,Hoist experience and excellent communication skills is desirable
Areas- IPSWICH, BRISBANE
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living including (but not limited to) Showering, Dressing/grooming, toileting, preparing meals
- Assistance with mobility and transitions using assistive technology
- Perform household tasks such as general cleaning/tidying, bed making and laundry assistance
- Support our clients to establish and maintain relationships through access to recreational activities, sports and arts in the community
- Perform duties in a flexible manner which suit our clients’ individual needs .
- Maintain positive and welcoming relationships with our clients and their families and
- Promote independence and dignity
*Essential requirements-
- First AID/CPR
- Cert 3 in Individual Support, or lived experience of supporting someone with disability.
- MUST have Current Driver Licence and your own vehicle
- NDIS worker screening, NDIS Worker Orientation and Induction
- Hold or willing to obtains Working with Children's Check/NDIS screening
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts and days with flexibility to suit the clients needs.
