About this role:
Programmed Care is looking for casual or permanent part-time Disability Support Workers to support and empower our participants in Western Sydney to reach their NDIS goals. Availability to work hours between 7am - 10pm, Monday- Friday with the occasional weekend shift is highly regarded. There are a variety of shifts that may suit you.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Personal care
- Bowel care
- Catheter care
- Manual Handling
- Community Access
- Companionship
- Domestic Duties
- Medication administration
- Brain Injury
To be considered for this rewarding role you must be able to provide the following:
- Current Certificate III Aged care, Individual Care, Disability or Community Care
- Minimum six months experience, in an aged care facility, in-home support or community-based role
- Valid driver's licence, reliable and registered vehicle, and current car insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Or Willing to Obtain Certification)
- NDIS Workers Clearance (Or Willing to Obtain Clearance)
- Great hourly rates paid weekly
- Online competencies and further education opportunities
- Free CPR and Manual Handling Certificate updates
- Supportive and collaborative environment
- Mobile app to track shifts and client information
