Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by providing them with the necessary support and assistance to lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or in community settings.

- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene & meal preparation.

- Promote independence and social inclusion by engaging clients in recreational and social activities.

- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns or changes.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals and family members, to develop and implement care plans.

- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times.

- Foster a respectful and empathetic relationship with clients, promoting their dignity and rights.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in Disability Support or a related field is preferred but not required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
