About the role
This opportunity presents a demanding yet deeply fulfilling prospect for you to make a positive change in the lives of people with disability. Experience working independently with complex Disability Support needs including non-verbal, escalations and behaviours of concerns will be highly regarded.
We are looking for applicants with 40+ hoursavailability per fortnight to work flexibility on a 24/7 roster. Ability to work overnight shifts including occasional active overnights is essential. Shifts primarily fall between Monday to Friday, weekend availability may be required.

The types of care we provide to our clients may consist of personal care, community access and transportation, medication administration and documenting and progress note keeping.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Ability to work overnight shifts including occasional active nights
- Experience working with complex Disability Support needs including non-verbal, escalations and behaviours of concerns will be highly regarded.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates as per NDIS requirements
- A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities
- The ability to develop a positive relationship with service users and to support their Individual Personal Plan
- Certificate IV Disability highly regarded
To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NDIS and Working with Children Checks (where relevant to the role).
