Revital Paths is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Independent Support Worker to provide exceptional weekend support to our client. This role is about more than assistance; it's about creating memorable weekends filled with nature-based activities that promote health, happiness, and a connection to the outdoors.
Available Shifts (potential for more)
Saturday and Sunday (11:00AM - 3:00PM)
Sunday (10:00AM - 4:00PM)
Hourly rate: $35-$55
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must have own transport. Safely transport clients to various outdoor activities.
- Must have PI/PL insurance.
- Assist with personal preparation and encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
- Build a genuine connection with the participant and his family.
- Engage in nature-based activities such as hiking, fishing, and more.
- Manage meal and activity expenses, fully reimbursed by the company.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Physical fitness to participate in light to moderate outdoor activities.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor adventures, with a bonus for fishing enthusiasts owning their equipment.
- Possession of personal transport and a proactive attitude towards promoting health and wellness.
