Adaptable Support Services is small disability service provider based out of Ipswich, Qld. Our company was formed in response to the growing needs of individuals looking for tailored and client-centric supports. We pride ourselves on providing up to date industry-informed support services, along with progressive and evolving practices. While we are a small company we do not compromise on our quality of service and involve clients and staff feedback in our decision making.

About The Role:
Your role as a Disability Support Worker could include but not be limited to:
- Helping client work towards their individual goals
- Accessing the community with participants to attend appointments, socialise and engage in various activities.
- Assist participants around the home with light domestic duties and cooking
- Assist participants with personal care as per the clients' needs
- Potential need for manual handling, hoisting, etc. Client-specific training will be provided as required
- Engage with participants in various group-based settings and activities
- Staff must be okay with personal care including showering and toileting
About You:
The ideal candidates will:
- Be enthusiastic and proactive in assisting participants with their required supports and goals
- Have relevant experience and understanding of disabilities and the disabled community
- Have or be willing to obtain the following:
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Hold a ‘P’ or open license
- Full comprehensive car insurance
- Safety Certificate / Roadworthy Certificate
