Are you an Experienced Disability Support Worker looking for a new and exciting opportunity?
Reach Ability Support is a recognized NDIS registered Disability support provider delivering high quality Support Coordination and Support Services across Brisbane, Logan & Gold Coast to eligible participants of the NDIS. Our goal is to provide participants with high quality supports that are individualised/customised to suit our clients, whilst also valuing our staff.
We are expanding and currently have multiple opportunities to join our team in Qld.
The Position
Disability Support within Supported Independent Living home
We are currently seeking casual support staff and Team Leaders to work in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation houses and for shifts within the community.
You will be responsible for supporting participants with their daily living tasks such as providing personal care, assisting with meal preparation and assisting with social support in the community and transport.
We are also looking for people with great availability and flexibility. We can offer a flexible working arrangement with services delivered Monday to Sunday. We offer great training and career progression to the right applicants.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting NDIS participants to achieve their goals.
- Support NDIS participants as per individual support plan and completing appropriate documentation such as progress notes, daily charts and documentation as per the participants needs.
- Support NDIS participants to access the community.
- Support NDIS participants with Daily living tasks such as personal care and meal preparation and possibly overnight sleepovers.
- Assist NDIS participants with medication.
- Manual handling tasks and transfers
- Have flexibility to work on 24/7 rotating roster with possibility of sleepovers.
We require applicants to have:
- Cert 3 individual support or equivalent
- Current NDIS worker screening check (or willing to obtain)
- Current blue card
- National police check (if applicable)
- Manual Handling Certificate (preferable)
- Assist with Medications certificate.
- Access to a reliable and roadworthy vehicle
- A valid driver's license.

- A genuine interest in the wellbeing of persons with disabilities
- Great communication Skills
