Immediate Start for Support Worker Roles available in Shepparton, Goulburn Valley and Seymour areas. We have casual positions available (with the scope of going permanent), within our growing, experienced and passionate team and we are ready to welcome you and support you in your new role.
As a Support Worker, you will become a valued part of a dedicated team, who believe in providing outstanding service to clients in need.
The successful candidate/s will need to have flexible availability, including weekends, weekdays, evenings, public holidays and overnight shifts.
About the Role
The successful candidate/s will need to have flexible availability, including weekends, weekdays, evenings, public holidays and overnight shifts.
Supporting our clients in their home, community and respite care accommodation with:
- Domestic Assistance
- Personal Care
- Meal Preparation
- Community Participation
- Excursions - Group Activities
- Transport
- All other aspects of daily living as per their NDIS Plan
About you:
- Attitude to go above and beyond with compassion and integrity.
- Work unsupervised.
- Desire to work with people with a wide range of interests and abilities.
- Uphold the National Disability Standards.
- Demonstrate good listening skills and build rapport and trust between clients.
- Experience working in the industry, or recently qualified looking for your first rewarding role within a supportive team to guide you in your new career.
Mandatory and Preferred Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable Vehicle
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- First Aid certificate
- CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Modules (or willing to obtain)
