Our School Leaver Employment Services (SLES) program helps school leavers become work ready in a safe, inclusive and fun learning environment.
We’re looking for two permanent part-time Disability Support Workers to join our Shoalhaven SLES program. Operating from our Nowra office on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, you'll enjoy a permanent contract of 32 hours per fortnight, working split shifts over a two-week roster period.

We’re looking for people with a keen interest in seeing young people achieve their vocational goals. This would be ideal for someone studying education, learning support officers, or Disability Support Workers with the following skills and experience:
- Familiarity with Person-Centred Planning to identify an individual’s employment goals.
- Experience working alongside young people with disabilities, particularly in the area of mental health.
- Experience of design of learning materials and fresh, engaging content.
- A creative approach to teaching people new skills.
- Excellent communication skills and someone who easily connects with participants and their support networks.
- Development of strong partnerships with providers and services in your local community.
- Organised and excellent at keeping accurate and professional records.
- Commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the people we support, your peers and visitors at all times.
