Disability Support Worker - Beenleigh & Logan location

We are seeking Support Workers with either experience or lived experience/skilled workers with a positive and passionate approach, providing a high level of support to the people we support with disabilities. The role is to provide in-home and community access support to several clients.
We are offering flexible casual shifts and potential part-time employment is available to the right candidates.
The specific needs of each person we support vary, however some of the services might include:
- Assistance with Daily living
- Stomer and bowel care an advantage
- Medication administration
- Transport to access the community and social program
- Domestic assistance to ensure a clean environment
- Current Driver’s License
- First Aid, CPR certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Work Rights to work in Australia ie: Birth Certificate, Passport, Citizenship Certificate
- Smart Phone
- Caring for people who have a disability or dual diagnosis Mental Health desirable
- Managing challenging and/or unusual behaviors or complex behaviors advantageous
Training and support will be provided, including staff induction and service orientation buddy shifts.
