Position: Casual Disability Support Workers (4 x positions / annual intake)
About Us:
Growth Advance Techniques Pty Ltd (GAT) is a Registered NDIS and Carer Gateway Service Provider.
GAT is First Nations owned and operated and we are committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling and independent lives. We provide a range of support services from Mackay to Cairns, specializing in facilitating self-awareness, emotional acceptance, growth, and the optimal development of personal resources. We assist clients in achieving their personal goals and gaining greater insight into their lives through cultural brokering and interpretation.
We offer support in 4 main areas:
- Disability and Carers support work
- Support Coordination
- Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
- Short Term / Medium Term Respite Accommodation (STA & MTA)
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a valid Blue/Yellow Card (Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People Check).
- Own a reliable vehicle and hold a full driver's license.
- Have full availability to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and use initiative when required.
- Previous experience working with complex clients or individuals with disabilities is highly advantageous.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Display empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting others.
