Role Description
The Disability Support Worker will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred support to participants in the Melbourne area. This is a contract role that requires the successful candidate to be on-site at all times. The Disability Support Worker will provide support to participants with daily living activities, mobility, social activities and community engagement.
Qualifications
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
Experience in Disability Support work
Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and relevant legislation
Experienced in implementing individual support plans
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Police Check applied with in 6 months
Current Driver's License
Working with Children Check
NDIS Screening Check
