About the position:
We are seeking a qualified Dispensary Technician who can support our team of Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacists alike. This role is an integral part of the Pharmacy team working closely with our Pharmacists to deliver a customer experience that consistently exceeds our customers’ expectations.
The successful candidate will have both dispensing and customer service, in order to carry out the following responsibilities:
Main responsibilities:
- Dispensing prescriptions under the direction and supervision of a qualified Pharmacist.
- Ensuring dispensary inventory management.
- Handling of inbound and outbound dispensary inquiries.
- Ensuring that customers are served in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Assisting the team with general day-to-day duties on the upkeep of the store.
- Replenishing stock and setting up displays.
- Assisting customers with their health needs and queries.
About you

In addition to the above, our ideal candidate will also possess:
- Previous pharmacy and/or dispensary experience.
- A S2/S3 Certificate in Community Pharmacy or related.
- An ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently.
- Capacity to assign priority to responsibilities and to meet time constraints.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and a high attention to detail.
- The ability to work across both our Wantirna and Glen Huntly Stores, as required.
