The Role
Century Yuasa Batteries has an opportunity for a skilled and motivated person who takes pride in their work and has the drive to succeed. You will take charge of our NSW Distribution Centre, managing a small warehouse team to support our three core business units in distribution throughout NSW. You will be responsible for ensuring stock management, scheduling (work-load leveling), visual and product kitting and quality are optimally maintained to achieve operational performance within budget.
You will need to have the ability to understand customer's needs and deliver superior customer service, as well as being able to work cross-functionally and autonomously.
Building and managing internal relationships is key, ensuring the goals of the broader business are maintained.
Other requirements for the position include:
- Previous warehousing management experience
- A current forklift operator's certificate
- Experience in Lean and 6S Warehousing
- Knowledge of material handling systems
- Experience in staff management
