About your role
Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Warehouse & Logistics, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by your:
- Ability to safely work as an individual and within a team environment
- Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
- Inventory to be located to the respective warehouse location accurately utilising the appropriate software to ensure inventory integrity is maintained
- Receiving, issuing and despatching inventory as well as tool management
- Providing accurate and timely distribution services to the site via our Stores with a strong focus on safety and customer service
- Ensuring materials requiring dispatch from site are packaged for safe transport and are in accordance with freight transport regulations
What you will bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A positive and motivated attitude with a strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to enable effective interaction with all levels of the organisation and across departments
- Commitment to safety, environment, continuous improvement and business targets
- Forklift licence preferred
- Certificate III in Transport and Distribution will be highly regarded as would a Dogman Certificate and a HR Licence
