About you
St Brigid's Catholic Primary School is looking for a highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner for the remainder of Term 2 ,3 & 4 2024. Days: Wed/ Thurs/ Fri (K-6)
To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate;
- A sound knowledge and a commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education and personal faith practice of the Catholic School
- a positive mindset, personally and professionally and be willing to contribute to a positive workplace environment
- Current knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), its processes and obligation of schools
- demonstrated ability in developing individual learning and behaviour plans for students
- ability to and experience in collaborating and consulting with key stakeholders relating to the Diverse Needs of students
- knowledge of and ability to implement adjustments based on the functional impact of a students’ disability
- knowledge of and experience in using a range of assessment tools to inform teacher planning and to guide further recommendations to external professionals
- excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- commitment to ongoing professional learning as well as the ability to monitor professional learning needs of staff and to align them to the learning needs of students
- committed to supporting student wellbeing.
Desirable criteria
- Post graduate qualifications in inclusive education
You will have attained:
- Tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.
