- Establish meaningful connections between diverse communities and Active Industry (fitness, Sport and Recreation) organisations. In today's dynamic world, the industry recognises the immense value that diversity brings to the workplace, fostering growth, creativity, innovation, and overall success.
- Promote the strategic platform, dedicated to breaking down barriers and building bridges that empower underrepresented communities to access exciting opportunities within Active Industry organisations. Through targeted outreach, community engagement, and partnership development, our project aims to create a more inclusive and representative workforce.
- Promote Active Industry careers to schools, particularly to the diverse populations in schools.
- Identify and develop resources for the online Careers Hub in ways that are most engaging to diverse communities. E.g. translation of resources, flexible/alternative training delivery.
- Advocate for the importance of Diversity and Inclusion in the workforce through awareness campaigns, webinars and other initiatives etc.
- Facilitate networking opportunities and workshops that bring together diverse communities and organisations seeking to enhance their workforce diversity.
