Diversity Manager, you will provide leadership for a team of highly skilled and energised social workers, occupational therapists and nurses dedicated to supporting our diverse communities at Eastern Health. You will oversee the Disability Liaisons (DLO), NDIS navigators, and LGBTQIA+ Liaisons, who work tirelessly to address barriers that these communities face in accessing health care services. Your role will involve improving the experience of individuals from diverse backgrounds by creating welcoming and safe environments within our facilities including:
- Operational and strategic leadership
- Membership on key organisational committees
- Consultation across all EH programs, community and state services
- Involvement in work of Action Plans
- Innovation and Improvement work
- Risk Management
- Case consultation
- Reporting directly to the Director of Allied Health/Deputy Chief Allied Health Officer
