The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
The Document Controller will be responsible for establishing and operating document control and records management processes and products in accordance with relevant standards, policies and procedures. You will ensure that the project complies with quality document control, records management procedures and meet compliance requirements.
At Transgrid, the Document Controller specialises in providing advice and services in a range of document, records and information activities to all levels within various Category B (>$80M to <$500M) projects.
About you
- Relevant qualifications in quality, information, or records discipline, or gained through experience
- A current Australian driver's licence
- Proactive and energetic
- Good understanding of records and document management principles and practices
- Excellent written communication skills
- Integrity and commitment to ethical practice, equity and diversity.
- Good interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and liaison skills
- Proficiency in the use of relevant corporate information systems i.e. TeamBinder and the InEight Suite, Ellipse, MS Project
- Sound knowledge of and proven experience in PC software i.e. Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
- Ability to liaise with customers and stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and plan effectively to ensure deadlines are met
- Proactive and energetic with a high level of interactive skills to provide advice, training and incidental advice to management and staff
