Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a global mining Company to engage a Domain Coach.This position is located in their busy Brisbane or Perth office for an initial Contract until 11/08/2024.
About the role
The Domain Coach focuses on managing and coordinating multiple programs and ARTs that are working together to deliver Portfolio/Domain OKRs that align with strategic business goals.
Duties
- Be a change agent
- Gain a close understanding of the business context to navigate the change
- Train executives, managers, and leaders
- Be an influencer to the leadership group, challenge and coach new mindsets & behaviours as needed.
- Identify Value Streams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
- Establish new practices, processes, cadences and ways of working to enable the effective and successful operation of the Domain as a Lean Portfolio.
- Integrate and harmonise the operation of waterfall and agile ways of working within a single Domain/Portfolio
- Implement assessment methods
- Review and help teams who are already using it
- Helping teams navigate their existing waterfall organisations and remove impediments to their agility
- Work with the Lean-Agile CoE (LACE) hub to build CoE spokes
- Proactively collaborate and work with other Coaches
Requirements/Skills
- Have extensive Agile delivery and coaching experience (10+ years)
- SAFe Implementation experience (mandatory)
- SPC SAFe Certification (desired)
- Have extensive theoretical and practical experience utilising various Agile Methodologies including SAFe, Scrum and Kanban
- Have strong theoretical and practical experience with Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices and processes
- Sound Product Management knowledge / awareness
- Able to build meaningful working relationships across teams and with stakeholders at all levels
