About the Role:
- Coordinate preparation of architectural working drawings for new homes based on Design team concepts
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and local laws
- Collaborate closely with Designers and Interior Designers to maintain design intent and buildability
- Review and contribute to design improvements in consultation with the project team
- Thoroughly review drawings for accuracy, buildability, and consistency
- Assist in checking the accuracy and suitability of shop drawings from steel fabricators
- Review Energy Ratings, HVAC, and Engineering designs for buildability, cost efficiency, and accuracy
- Ensure coordination between various project documents to eliminate ambiguity
- Update drawings to reflect client and project requirements over time
- Minimum 2 years of Drafting experience within construction as a Team Leader
- Demonstrated experience estimating projects over $1M in value
- Self-starter, mature-minded and thrives in an autonomous environment
- Ready to take a senior position whereby your input and ideas are valued and implemented within the business
