About the role:
To assist the business unit on technical and practical engineering tasks including project management activities associated with plant improvements, capital projects and production through the use of 3D modelling and autocad design.
- Prepare structural designs in accordance with the relevant Authority or Australian Standards, using recognised design principles and methods
- Carry out independent engineering design and drafting checks on internally prepared drawings
- Ensure all designs are prepared to meet Quality System requirements with the understanding that designs are subjected to contract review, verification and traceability.
- Provide technical advice to internal and external customers when required based on product knowledge and suitability to intended application.
- Maintain awareness of amendments to relevant Authority specifications and Australian Standards
