The Role
Arkular is currently seeking an experienced Draftsperson. This role will have you jumping head first into new and innovative projects that are extraordinarily progressive and exciting while ensuring the clients experience is exceptional. This is an exciting opportunity for a Draftsperson that is looking to experience Modular Architecture and has had industry experience in supporting, documenting and delivering exceptional projects.
The role will give you the opportunity of learning and collaborating with some of the industry’s most competent individuals whilst actively participating in our expansion into Tasmania.
Responsibilities
- Develop concept design in collaboration with our Architects
- Prepare and lodge accurate and timely town planning packages
- Complete accurate and timely architectural drawing packages for contracts
- Engage and coordinate required planning consultants, engineers and sustainability consultants
- Coordinate projects in all stages from design development through to construction administration
- Work in collaboration with our Architects
- Work on updating and adding to a reference library of standard details
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD
- Broad documentation knowledge across a diverse range of projects including residential and commercial realms
- Experience in coordinating consultants & authorities
- Experience and understanding of Australian Standards, NCC and necessary requirements for safety, health & amenity and sustainability in the design & construction of new buildings
