Following continued growth in the Southern region, applications are sought for an experienced, motivated and customer focused Draftsperson to join our Hobart team. This permanent, full-time position will be based in Stanton Place, Cambridge, TAS.
As a Draftsperson joining us, you can expect to produce detailed shop drawings in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD, (and similar), as well as coordinating building services in Autodesk Navisworks, Trimble Connect, and so forth.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who displays:
- Interest in the Engineering and Construction Industry.
- 3D modelling software - produce high compelling visualisation.
- Australian Standards and NCC section J (knowledge is advantageous)
- Interest in the Building Information Modelling (BIM) process to assist industry leaders to achieve high quality construction management.
- Involve in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) - produce digital 3d models and handle construction data - to better understand the building lifecycle.
Draftsperson requires a meticulous, problem solver that is solutions orientated individual who can work within a team, receptive to constructive feedback and takes the utmost care and quality in work produced.
Computer literacy and experience using CAD software packages is essential. Knowledge of the mechanical services, air conditioning, ventilation, fabrication, or similar fields is desirable as well as experience in CADmep.
