Form of workOur client, an Oil and Gas operating company based in Perth, Western Australia is seeking an experienced Drilling Procurement Advisor to join their Drilling team.
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Meet Client’s HSEC requirements.
- Proper utilisation of the Company’s overall buying power in obtaining, at best value to the correct specification, material, equipment and services on a confidential competitive basis in support of Drilling Operations in Australia.
- Procurement activities in line with established procedures, compiling a bidders’ list, seeking vendor quotations, evaluating response, issuing of purchase orders, expediting and maintaining delivery schedules, achieved by utilising a computerised purchasing and materials management system in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- To ensure that all risks associated with the procurement function are identified and that safe management processes are established and maintained.
- To satisfy internal customer, team member and vendor requirements.
- Monitor and process the usage of consignment and contract materials associated with drilling and completions programs.
- Maximise cost reduction and improve efficiencies in the procurement processes.
- Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the applications in relation to purchasing.
To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in Oil & Gas Drilling.
