THE OPPORTUNITY: 

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Contracts Advisor, to join our team on a 12-month Maximum Term contract (maternity leave), based out of the corporate office in West Perth. There will be a requirement to travel to site monthly.

Reporting to the Procurement Contracts Lead, you will be responsible for end-to-end contract management including in a blend of both goods and service contracts.  This includes effective tendering, negotiation, awarding, and ongoing contract administration.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operations Goods and Materials Contracts and some Service Contracts
  • Goods and Materials Strategic Sourcing, Non-OEM, LCC and Category Management. 
  • Ensure fast and effective end to end contract management. 
  • Comply with Contracts and Procurement Policies.
  • Supporting the Team in hitting KPI’s and yearly targets.
  • Supporting site operations with monthly visits.
  • Prepare and compile spend reports, spend analysis, opportunities reports.
  • Provide commercial support to the relevant internal customers.
  • Develop strong partnerships with suppliers and internal customers.

ABOUT YOU: 

  • Proven experience in end-to-end contract management.
  • Experienced within the mining resources sector.
  • Fast methodical professional, who thrives on process improvements and can work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of master data, ANSI process and ERP materials management.
  • Pronto experience is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Tertiary qualification, ideally in commercial or legal discipline.
  • WA C class driver’s license
