On behalf of Chevron, we are looking for a Procurement Advisor. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of one of the world’s largest operating Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCSU) projects. The CO2 Long Term Optimisation Project (LTOP) is designed to enhance the existing Carbon Capture and Storage facilities on Barrow Island.
As part of the CO2 LTOP Supply Chain Team, the Procurement Advisor will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of contracts, materials, and site services essential for the success of the project.
- Support the Senior Procurement Advisor in the bidding, evaluation, award and post order management of Company procured materials.
- Able to manage procurement packages independently through the procurement and expediting process
- Develop commercial documentation.
- Work with project delivery team and contractors to ensure all project technical and commercial requirements areincluded in PO’s
- Deliver all procurement activities including PO negotiation, PO formation and management, expediting activities, reporting, tracking, change order management, back charge claims and order close out
- Ensuring Contractor and Company compliance to procurement process and procedures.
- Tracking Contractor and Company material milestones against schedule and KPI’s,
- Monitoring Procurement and Expediting Status Reports, identifying potential delays, bottelnecks and implementing subsequent mitigations
- Support procurement activities undertaken by Company procurement teams in Perth and Manila,
- Oversee procurement and expediting activities undertaken by the appointed Engineering and Procurement (E&P)
- Contractor from material requisition through to purchase order close out.
- Identify opportunities to improve schedule through procurement and expediting activities.
- Provide monthly status reporting of BWI procurement activities.
- Stakeholders (internal and external) engagement to drive endorsement of strategies and plans in support of project schedule.
- Work with wider Procurement, Logistics and Materials Management team to ensure timely and safe delivery of
procurement packages
- Relevant Experience in MCP Contracts and Procurement
- Experience working for Owners and/or EPC procurement teams on MCP’s
- Attention to detail.
- Proven communication and negotiation skills.2/2
- Ability to develop reports to support business needs utaising various tools and systems. (e.g. PowerBI)
- Strong Interpersonal skills and team player.
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationship with E&P Contractor and Vendors alike.
- Understanding of MCP logistics, materials management, and quality process
- Knowledge of Chevron procurement process and procedures
- Part of the project delivery team delivering a key strategic project for Chevron.
- The CO LTOP is one of the worlds largest Carbon Capture and Storage facilities.
