About the roleMater's Digital Service Centre is looking for a Digital
Support Officer in permanent full-time role based at Mater Rockhampton. You will be part of the team who are the first point of contact for our Mater people state-wide who are requiring assistance with digital technologies.As a member of the Digital Service Centre, you will provide support via phone calls, in person or messaging platforms. Working within service management processes, this role will effectively classify, prioritise, resolve or escalate faults and requests.If you are passionate about solving IT issues and helping people and want to make it your career, we encourage you to apply today!Salary range: $35.45 - $39.62 (MCA 3) per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900
What you'll be doingSome of the key duties for this role include:
- Assist Mater people with IT faults for all digital assets
- Resolve routine/common/known digital requests
- Document faults and requests submitted into the Digital Service Centre
- Perform after-hours desktop support as part of a rotating on-call roster
- Perform installation and upgrades to IT equipment
- Perform IT asset management administration
About youTo be successful in this role you will ideally have the following:
- Minimum 2 years relevant IT experience
- ITIL V3 or 4 Foundation (Desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of service desk, audio visual and desktop support to end users in large and complex environments
- Driven to provide the highest customer service to your clients, both internal and external
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, active directory, networking, computer and AV hardware installation and support
- Excellent communication skills
