We seek an experienced Duty Manager to assist in all Food and Beverage departments of the venue.
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the venue alongside an already established management team.

The candidate with need the following key attributes
- Have had previous experience in a similar position, in control of large bars, venues or similar.
- Sound product and industry knowledge
- Good financial and administrative skills
- Cash management as closing the venue is shared amongst all managers
- Inventory management- Stocktake, POS management systems
- A constructive and positive approach to managing people with strong leadership and mentoring ability
- Highly driven, motivated and a mature approach to work
- High standard and understanding of front of house operations
- Strong focus on quality and customer service
- A hands on approach and able to lead by example
Furthermore, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing all bar management across the Loft Cocktail, Duxton Main Bar, Oak Room and the roof top terrace. This includes
- Driving continuous improvement in staff performance and productivity
- Working alongside the GM, Venue manager, Function and events manager and head chef to achieve the best possible results
- Provide Day to day control of bars
- Managing Rosters, staff availability, sick leave and staffing levels
- Ensure the efficient, cost effective and smooth running of business
- Leading and motivate your team through experience and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards
- Maintaining effective relationships with customers/staff/management
- Induction of all new bar staff with ongoing training – Coffee, Wine, beer, spirit and cocktail
- Monitor quality of service and oversee all aspects of running large team of staff
- Induct all new bar staff
- Grow business and image of venue with service style, drinks list and staff presentation.
- Managing all areas of beverage stock control
- Oversee Cellar maintenance
- Maintaining all Liquor licensing/TAB requirements and policies, RSA/RCG training and registers
- Maintaining a clean and safe venue for staff and patrons alike
- Managing security and incident report register
- Managing in house music
- Maintaining POS
- Balancing all Tills, Floats and Takings
