Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, professional and enthusiastic Duty manager to lead the team at Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel.
Responsibilities include:
Assist in the development and training of Guest Service Agents;
Ensure that all daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner;
Conducting guest arrivals and departures;
Confidently providing personalised, attentive guest service, including pre-empting the guest's requirements;
Imparting your knowledge and recommendations about the hotel, its facilities and the local area including restaurants and attractions;
Ensuring guest queries and complaints are handled efficiently and effectively;
Maintaining accurate guest accounts, adhering to strict confidentiality policies and procedures;
Finalizing guest accounts, including cash handling;
Assisting in general administration duties in the Front Office department and general duties across the Housekeeping & Maintenance departments as required
Expected hours: 38 hours per week
Location: 31 - 33 Woods Street, Darwin NT 0800
Annual salary: $70,000 (excluding superannuation)
Approved sponsor: Oaks Hotels & Resorts Suites
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
Minimum 2+ years experience at a supervisor level within a Hotel environment
Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
Understanding of Trust accounting
A passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Availability to work a variety of day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
