ABOUT THE POSITION…
As a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our tavern whilst providing exceptional customer service at all times. You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of daily operations, staff supervision and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all guest’s whist ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
You will thrive on giving excellent customer service along with having sound knowledge and experience in all hotel areas including tab, gaming, bistro, and retail.
You will be available to work within a flexible roster. No super late nights but weekdays and weekends a must. Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
POSITION DESCRIPTION…
- Assist the Venue Manager by overseeing daily operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all processes, and creating a positive work environment for employees.
- Maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the venue during shift, including maintaining bar stock and cashing up at the end of shift.
- Ensure the venue is always kept clean, neat, and tidy at every touch point.
- Contributing to a great work culture.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS…
- Minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Current New South Wales RSA and RCG certificates.
- Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment.
- Able to work shifts across a 7-day roster.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with customers and employees.
