Position Overview: We are seeking a computer-savvy individual for a part-time Office Administrator with some basic bookkeeping and BAS work.
Key Responsibilities:
- General reception duties: answering phones, making appointments, etc.
- Monitoring the general email inbox and client portal
- Administering the electronic signature system
- Managing ASIC corporate affairs (CAS360)
- Sending electronic invoices and processing payments
- Handling electronic mail from ATO and communicating with ATO
- Basic bookkeeping and business activity statements
Software Proficiency:
- Xero Practice Manager, Xero Tax
- BGL CAS 360
- ATOmate, MYOB, Quickbooks Online
- Hubdoc, Dext, Adobe Acrobat, Dropbox Sign
- Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with various legal structures (companies, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, etc.) is a plus
- Experience in a small professional accounting practice is desirable but not essential.
Working Hours: Flexible part-time position, including the option for school hours and working from home.
