Duty Manager

Location: Various venues (including The Camfield, The Stables Bar, The Reveley, The Elford, and Good Company Bar)

Role Overview: We are seeking Duty Managers to join our team at our established venues, with the anticipation of adding additional venues in the near future. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day running of service in the venues. This includes managing employees on shift to ensure customers are provided with a positive experience and providing further training to staff as necessary. Duty Managers should be flexible and comfortable working in all areas of the venue, whether it be in the bar, on the floor, the restaurant, or overseeing large-scale functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the venue.
• Manage and supervise employees during shifts to ensure excellent customer service.
• Provide training and support to staff members
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the venue.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management for restocking as needed.
• Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale functions and events.
• Act as a liaison between staff and management, conveying any concerns or suggestions.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry.
• Must have or be willing to obtain an Approved Managers Card
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Flexibility and willingness to work in various areas of the venue.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
