About the Role
- Work across all areas of the venue, supervising and directing staff to ensure excellent service at all times.
- Ensure day to day operations are running efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues and making suggestions to improve.
- Monitor staffing levels to balance service goals and wage expenses.
- Communicate shift report clearly to the venue manager so they are aware of staff and hotel performance as well as any customer issues or barrings.
About You
- Enjoy connecting with people and have a ‘service’ mindset.
- Have a thorough understanding of compliance relating to RSA, gaming and liquor licensing.
- Experience in a busy venue, especially gaming.
- Excellent ability to solve problems in an effective, calm manner.
- Able to supervise and direct staff in a respectful manner and to train them effectively.
- Support the venue manager in controlling wages and ensuring proper stock control and cash handling practices.
- Work across a 7-day roster.
- Hold a current Responsible Person badge.
- Experience with H&L beneficial.
