Guildford Leagues Club has a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Duty Manager to join our team and help the business to continue to grow. This role may also suit a current Supervisor looking to take the next step up in their career. You will be a dedicated professional who ensures the highest level of customer service is delivered to our members and guests.
We are a medium sized Club in Western Sydney. We are currently in the process of refurbishing our premises including both indoor and outdoor gaming rooms servicing over 240 gaming machines, refurbished bar areas and reception. In addition we have a successful new restaurant and café and we are looking forward to welcoming our members to a modern, fresh Club.
The successful applicant will have responsibilities in the following key areas:
- Oversee all daily operation of Club activities including bar, gaming, safe & CRT balancing, ATM’s, promotions, security of Club premises and all other member facilities.
- Leadership & Supervision of staff: Duty allocation, rosters, and performance monitoring
- Ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, liaising with both staff, patrons and contractors and building strong relationships
- Ensuring the Club’s policies and procedures are adhered to and compliance with legislative requirements
- Providing clear written shift reports.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Have previous experience in a similar Club management or supervisory role
- A comprehensive knowledge of all operational areas of the Club
- Understanding of legislation and compliance relevant to the Club industry
- Have strong leadership skills, and be able to motivate and coach staff while creating a work environment that promotes teamwork and achieving excellence
- Be keen to advance your skills & adopt further responsibilities.
- Great communication and time management skills
- Be flexible, self motivated and a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
- Have RSA & RCG Competency Card
- Be available to work a rotating roster across a variety of shift times including days, overnights, weekends and public holidays
Our Management Team work a rotating roster which includes regular weekends off. We also provide the opportunity for our team to undertake ongoing Workplace Training and Development.
Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant commensurate with experience.
