mlcoa are seeking talented individuals to join our centralised DVA team, where we will bring all operational functions together.
We are looking for an exceptionally organised and skilled Team leader who can help lead the centralisation of our Operational and DVA QA team.
If you have experience across multiple functions, that's a plus!
You will have a strong attention to detail and ability to learn and adapt. You thrive on working in a fast paced but supportive environment and you have a strong desire to be part of an important and highly valued centralisation of mlcoa key customer.
Ideal candidates have had experience leading a team or have experience working across multiple functions at mlcoa i.e.: QA, file prep, scheduling, invoicing and CSO.

Job Description
The National DVA Team Leader primary purpose is to lead the National DVA Operations and QA team to deliver evidenced-based, insightful and helpful medical opinions that are clear, accurate, compliant, and timely to facilitate informed decision-making regarding an individual’s health and work outcomes.
- A strong collaborator who can bring a team together to work optimally.
- Peer to peer support and 1-1 monthly team member catch ups
- Facilitate team meetings
- Documenting process, procedure, and customer guidelines
- Updating KMS with Operations and Quality information
- Learning & Development – assisting with the development revision and delivery of training
- Attendance at monthly Technical and Training Meetings
- Ensure currency of knowledge and skills of customer and legislative framework requirements
- Complete and remain current with all mlcoa / MedHealth organisational compliance requirements
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in a health-related science or other relevant discipline (highly regarded)
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in DVA report types
- Outstanding collaboration, influencing and relationship building skills across internal and external key stakeholder environment
- Exceptionally well-developed emotional and social intelligence
- A collaborator with exceptional team building skills
- A natural orientation to customer service with a capacity to problem solve to deliver a quality outcome for all key stakeholders
- A keen focus on being efficient, productive, and focused with the highest level of attention to detail
- Superior verbal and written communication skills including negotiation and influencing skills
- A resilient personality with a natural orientation towards solving challenges and working with others positively and respectfully
- Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
Specific Knowledge and Skills
- An understanding of DVA is highly advantageous.
