Together for excellence.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our Dynamic Pricing team at Mercedes-Benz Cars. Reporting to the Head of Pricing, Fleet and Pre-Owned vehicles, the Pricing Analyst works closely with key business stakeholders to define and set our vehicle pricing for the Mercedes-Benz Cars product line. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor competitive Transaction Pricing (TP) and report trends to Management.Monitor and report on stock levels, stock turn, aged stock, and pockets of problem stock.Competitor pricing analysisManagement and operation of price and sales algorithm (Contiamo) and other AI tools.Develop models, reports, and slides for fortnightly pricing meetings.Update DIP with price changes and ensure they flow through to Agent/customer systems (e.g. STS, DCP).Monitor state and territory registration authority and CTP provider websites daily and update Tax Engine as required.Spot check transaction pricing on STS quotations, contracts, and invoices as well as the online store (DCP) daily and immediately report discrepancies to management.Manual pricing of special vehicles (e.g. TINV buyback requests).Develop models to track price changes/campaign performance and effect on sales development. What we are looking forStrong analytical skills and ability to represent large amounts of data in a simple and easy to understand way.Robust understanding of key commercial, business and industry drivers in relation to pricing trends.Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.Experience with Power BI (or other BI tools) and the automotive industry would be advantageous.Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field of Commerce, Economics or Statistics and 2+ years relevant work experience is essential.
