About the Opportunity
This role is responsible for providing support and assistance to the teams within the Economy, Growth and Infrastructure Directorate as required while supporting the Director in the smooth running of the Directorate. This role will be required to undertake general secretarial duties including proactively responding to correspondence, telephone enquiries, and managing the Directors email, diary, and meetings. The successful applicant would be expected to work with a strong customer service focus, providing a positive influence and presence for the whole organisation.
This role is a Full time, permanent position. Remuneration begins at $71K to $81K (Band 5) plus superannuation.
About You
Our ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director and teams in the Economy, Growth and Infrastructure Directorate. The successful candidate will have a positive and professional approach, with political awareness and the ability to build strong working relationships. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and diplomacy.
Flexibility, the ability to multitask and advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite are crucial for success in this role.
