Spotify is looking for a team member to join the Sydney Music team under the Early Career Program. The Early Career Program is an immersive 24-month program that brings Early Career talent in Australia to Spotify to learn about the audio business.

As a program participant, you will make a significant impact on your team and the business, contributing your insights and ideas to the exciting work that we do. This program includes learning & development opportunities, mentorship, and a number of team-building and social activities, so that you will have a well-rounded experience and be completely engaged in the culture of the company.
You will be a part of the Australia and New Zealand Music team, working across projects and processes between the Artist and Label Partnerships and Editorial teams. This includes owning and maintaining internal systems and tools to support the music team, editorial merchandising, artist, audience and genre research and development and working closely to support the ALP team with key external partners and artists.
You will work cross functionally with wider AUNZ teams to assist in developing and executing music marketing campaigns and local projects, with a focus on driving GenZ initiatives and strategies.
The position will report into the Lead, Artist and Label Partnerships (ALP), and work closely with the Lead, Music Editorial, as well as the ALP and Editorial teams.
This program is over the course of 24 months.
What You'll Do
Work across both ALP & Editorial teams to provide project support
Own and maintain internal systems and tools to support the Music teams (e.g. On platform Marketing)
Editorial merchandising
Drive Music Team quarterly reporting
Work cross functionally with wider internal AUNZ teams (e.g. Marketing, Ops, Podcast) to execute projects & fulfill the Music team's strategic goals
Assist in developing and executing music marketing campaigns playing a key role in operational & project support
Assist artists & industry partners in accessing and using tools provided by Spotify
Monitor & manage artist-specific content provided to Spotify’s key business partners
Maintain best practices around our product, release campaigns, profile management and content distribution
Work closely with ALP teams key external partners (Labels, Artist Managers, Artists, Aggregators, Promoters)
Who You Are
Graduate / Post-Graduate in Business, Marketing, Journalism, or Media Studies
Passionate music lover
Social native, with an interest in video/editing
Demonstrated project management skills; creating spreadsheets and workbooks, managing action items, communicating status reports, creating agendas and reporting.
Airtable experience preferred
Well organised, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines and pay exceptional attention to detail
Problem solver, who is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude
Able to craft executive-level presentations
