An exciting and rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Nominated supervisor/Centre Director with an Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma qualification to join and lead our existing team at Little Giggles Early Learning Centre Killarney Vale on the Central Coast of NSW. The position is Full time with the option of having a weekly RDO or not (38 hours per week).

About the role: As the Nominated Supervisor, you are expected to oversee the operations of the service and lead, guide and support a team which provides high quality Early Childhood education and care to children. We want someone who is passionate and committed to being an advocate for children and families.
We require a leader who can effectively communicate the needs of the families and the Centre while delivering an educational, friendly and safe environment for our families and the wider community to attend.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting educators to deliver educational programs – within our curriculum framework.
- Leading and mentoring existing teams;
- Ability to problem solve and manage people;
- Reporting to approved provider and provide support to the management structure;
- Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families;
- Ensuring the service is compliant with the Education and Care Services national law and regulations and other relevant legislations;
- Ensuring that the policies of the organization are implemented;
- Ensuring the organization’s Quality improvement plan is implemented and that the organization works towards exceeding the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care;
- Ensuring the service and staff acts on the organization’s commitment to continuous improvement and Early Childhood best practice wherever possible.

Essential Criteria:
Min 2+ years' experience managing childcare services
Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (approved by ACECQA) or working towards this qualification
Current Working with Children Check
Ability to work shifts between 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday
First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF2.0)
