Early Childhood Educator Froebel St Leonards

FROEBEL St Leonardsis one of 5 early learning services run by the not-for-profit provider FROEBEL Australia. The centre offers inspiring learning environments on 3 levels plus a rooftop playground for 99 children from 6 months to 5 years. Our educational program focuses on immersive language learning (second language: German) and inquiry-based early learning by implementing the Little Scientists program. We are looking for committed and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educatorsfor our Nursery Room. The role is up to full-time (38 hours per week) worked across 5 days (part-time negotiable).

The successful candidate will:

• ideally hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (strong Cert III candidates are welcome to apply!)
• have very good communication and interpersonal skills to built and grow trusting relationships with colleagues, families and community members
• have a keen interest in immersive language learning and inquiry-based learning
• have an understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• last but definitely not least: have a sunny personality with a positive mindset!

Market salary range for this position is $62K-$72K + superannuation.
