About the role:
The Childcare Educator position actively supervises and ensures the wellbeing of enrolled children. Develops and maintains positive relationships with families. All activities performed by the Early Childhood Educator are to be delivered in a way that ‘exceeds the Education and Care Services National Quality Standards.’
What you will be doing:
1. Actively supervise children and ensure their wellbeing.
2. Assume responsibility as ‘responsible officer’ as needed in the absence of the centre director.
3. Develop and implement activities at the centre consistent with the national quality framework.
4. Implement curriculum activities that Exceed the National Quality Standards including collaboration with families, children and staff.
5. Active participation in maintaining relevant safety standards and act as a first aid officer as and when required.
6. Maintaining activities within the limits of approved financial budgets.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. First Aid - Education and Care Setting (HLTAID004)
2. First Aid - CPR (HLTAID009)
3. Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW
4. Working with Children Check
5. Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Position details:
ML345, Temporary, part-time role, working 15 hours a week on Thursday and Friday each week. This is a temporary position until December 2024 with the possibility of an extension.
Salary: $36.54 per hour + Superannuation + Performance Bonus (up to 2% annual salary) + organisational bonus (up to $2K) + Aquatic and Fitness membership discounts.
