This is a hands-on Early Childhood Teaching role.
- 37.5 hours a week over 5 days a week
We have an exciting opportunity for responsible, caring and committed Early childhood Teacher to join our team at Country Bumpkins Early Learning Centre.
New graduates or those working towards their ECT are welcome.
This is a part-time (37.5) position opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher to work in a small team with 5 other educators.
Country Bumpkins Early Learning Centre Teacher Requirements :
- hold a Bachelor of Education/Early Childhood or equivalent
- ACECQA approved qualification deeming you as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT). We are also happy to consider final year applicants
- Knowledge of the Early Years Framework (ELYF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Hold a current First Aid Qualification
- Passionate and enthusiastic about childcare in a play-base Learning environment
- permanent residency in Australia
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and drive a culture of inclusion, exploration and ongoing innovation for children's learning and development.
About us :
Country Bumpkins is a small privately owned Childcare centre located in Sutton NSW only 10 min from ACT. Our surrounds is rural with a small village community. Country Bumpkins caters to 3-5 years olds. We are a small centre with 30 Students per day and divide our children into 3-4 years and 4-5 years groups. We have been operating for 9 years and have built a strong connection with our community and local schools. Our operating hours are 7:30am-5:30pm.

General responsibilities :
Work alongside the centre manger and educational leader to deliver high quality programs and education
Build a rapport with visitors, parents and children
- Lead a small team in providing high quality play-based education and care for children aged 3-5 year.
- Prepare, implement and evaluate the educational program and programming cycle.
- Lead the documentation of children's emerging skills and interests.
- Foster positive and co-operative relationships amongst staff, children and families.
- Provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment for children and families.
- Ensure a high level of health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Be the supervisor when on an opening or closing shift.
