About Point Resolution Child Care Centre (PRCC)
PRCC is a unique, not for profit, open plan Early Childhood Centre located in Dalkeith that provides high quality Early Childhood education and care services for a mixed aged group of children up to 5 years of age.
PRCC operates from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and caters for up to twenty-six children.
About the role
As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will play an integral role at PRCC by ensuring centre programs meet legislative requirements, service policies and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Core duties of the role include:
- Leading the development and delivery of high quality, inclusive programs within Point Resolution Childcare Centre (PRCC) and support PRCC performance to meet and or exceed all National Quality Standards (NQS) and Early Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Working as part of a team to ensure high quality, developmentally appropriate education, and safe care for children at PRCC by applying caring and professional behaviour to deliver the required customer and childcare services;
- Work collaboratively with parents and families to provide updates on children’s progress and address any concerns or questions; and
- Support the Coordinator PRCC to actively guide the PRCC educators in maintaining the Centre’s Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
About the successful candidate
The successful applicant will possess;
- Previous experience in delivering quality and diverse educational programs and transitional routines for children up to 5 years old.
- Well-developed organisational skills; and
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to apply initiative.
It is essential for the successful applicant to also have the following:
- Degree level qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent approved ACECQA level qualifications Current Working with Children Check.
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate
- Current WA National Police Certificate (obtained within the past 3 months).
What we offer
This position offers a salary between $79,105 – $92,020 per annum plus superannuation depending on skills and experience.
