The 54 place long day care service based in Townsville, North Queensland provides care for 0-6 years. We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced ECT to join our small team. The successful candidate will run a program that caters to children’s interests and needs with the support of an experienced team who have created beautiful natural outdoor spaces where children flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Engaging Play-Based Learning: Utilize a strong understanding of children's interests to design and implement a dynamic play-based program that encourages exploration and learning.
- Creative Program Delivery: Bring your passion and creativity to the forefront, delivering programs that captivate young learners and inspire curiosity.
- Experience and Expertise: Leverage your past experience working directly with 3-5 year olds, demonstrating a proven track record in program development and implementation.
- Knowledgeable in EYLF and NQS: Showcase your sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard, ensuring programs are aligned with these guidelines.
- Quick Learner & Strong Communicator: Adapt swiftly to new methodologies and communicate effectively with both children and families. Your written and verbal skills will be key in maintaining transparent and open communication.
- Team Player and Leader: Collaborate effectively within a team, inspiring and engaging colleagues. Lead by example, fostering an environment of creativity, teamwork, and growth.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Embrace change and adapt to evolving needs, ensuring a dynamic and responsive learning environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood
- Current Blue Card
- Demonstrated experience in program development for Early Childhood education.
- The ability to lead and work within a positive team environment; and
- Flexibility, energy, enthusiasm, and a mature approach.
