Our Early Years Place:
The Early Years Place (EYP) is an integrated universal service accessible for children (birth – 8 years), their families and expecting parents residing in Caboolture and surrounding areas (geographic catchment of the EYP). To maximise access and engagement, the EYP offers a range of service delivery models including onsite programs, targeted home visiting and outreach at Satellite sites and community locations across the region.
About the role:
We are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at our Early Years Place located in Caboolture on a part time basis (32 hours per week between 8:30am and 5pm) available to commence immediately. This role will support programs across the EYP, however, will be responsible for the delivery of our Pre-Kindy programs.
Our Early Childhood Educators enjoy a varied role that can include working in partnership with our Family Support Workers and Child Health staff to deliver holistic and integrated facilitated playgroups and parent education programs.

The successful applicants will have:
- A Degree in Early Childhood or an ACECQA approved equivalent;
- Confidence in working across all age groups (birth to 8 years);
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Passionate about working with children and families;
- Believe strongly in early intervention;
- Have the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team;
- Excellent organising and planning skills, and with the ability to multi-task in a busy work environment;
- Confidence in presenting and cofacilitating parent programs such as Circle of Security (training will be provided);
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card/Exemption Card);
- Current first aid and CPR certificates;
