As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you're achieving optimal outcomes for children.
About Goodstart Drouin:

• Our 90-place centre in located in a country town setting in West Gippsland, 90kms east of Melbourne and close to the main street and shops, public transport and schools
• Inside our centre you will find colourful and stimulating surrounds, and outside age-based play spaces with sandpits, bike track, veggie garden and dry creek bed
• At our centre we encourage children to develop at their own pace, with the support and resources needed to reach milestones and become confident independent learner
• Seeking an ECT for our 3 year old kinder room
• Fixed term contract until Jan 2025
• Full time or Part time options available

You'll need:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Current Victorian Institute of Teachers Registration
